The experience behind the concept

TORKS was born from an operational observation made on construction sites in wet or unstable environments. In these conditions, standard equipment quickly shows its limitations: precarious stability, insufficient reach, buoyancy to control, poorly adapted accessories and inconsistent performance.

These constraints have led to a rethinking of the technical approach, favoring robust machines, sized according to the bearing capacity of the soil, the depth of intervention, the necessary radius of action and the nature of the materials to be extracted.

The objective is to offer a coherent, reliable configuration adapted to the real conditions of the construction site, with a strong requirement for the quality of assembly and validation.

Positioning and engagement

Accessory optimization

Specialized equipment requires suitable tools.

TORKS develops accessories optimized for:

  • hydraulic dredging

  • sediment extraction

  • working in aquatic vegetation

  • operations in sensitive environments

The geometries are designed to improve efficiency, minimize material loss, and ensure precise execution.

Our partners

  • Technilub : manufacturer of the bio-hydraulic oil used in our machines. Technilub is a world-class player and produces over 18 million liters of oil per year.

  • Technifrance : our river homologation partner who is in charge of the inspections of our machines.

Assembly and validation in France

The engineering, assembly and final validation of the equipment are carried out in France.

Each machine is subject to:

  • of complete structural control

  • a weld inspection

  • of hydraulic systems control

  • functional validation before delivery

This step ensures the consistency of the entire machine/arm/accessories system and guarantees a level of requirement that complies with European standards.

A response born from the field

TORKS was born from an operational observation.

On many construction sites in wet or unstable environments , standard equipment shows its limitations:

  • Insufficient range for safe working

  • Precarious stability on soft ground

  • Accessories not well suited for fine dredging or sludge removal

  • Inconsistent performance under complex conditions

These repeated observations led to a rethinking of the technical approach.

Rather than adapting existing equipment, TORKS has chosen to design solutions optimized from the outset for these specific environments.

A pragmatic engineering vision

TORKS is based on a simple approach: analyze the actual constraints of the site before sizing the machine.

Each project takes into account:

  • the soil bearing capacity

  • the depth of intervention

  • the necessary range of action

  • the nature of the materials to be extracted

  • safety requirements

The long-reach arms are recalculated to ensure rigidity and precision.

Amphibious structures incorporate a detailed analysis of buoyancy and load distribution.

The goal is not to offer a standard product, but a coherent and tailored configuration.
